Abraxas Ohio Celebrates Pi Day

Students celebrated Pi Day 2021 by solving word searches, writing Piku’s, graphing the first 1000 digits of pi, and reading Sir Cumference and the Dragon of Pi. They memorized the digits of pi and participated in a coloring contest for prizes which resulted in some amazing pictures of the pi symbol! One student memorized 43 digits of pi to take home the prize, and the opportunity to throw a pie at our principal, Shelly Patrick. Pi day would not be complete without a pie, so at the end of the day, each student got an oatmeal cream pie to complete the celebration.
