Young Entrepreneur Certificate

The certificate for Young Entrepreneurs is presented by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Nine students recently completed the 10-week course.

The course introduces young entrepreneurs to the basics of creating and financing a successful business. Students learned to evaluate their ideas, choose the best financing options and legally register their business. The course pointed students to the resources needed on their entrepreneurial journey. The course’s learning objectives are embedded within the Fundamentals of Business Management class offered by the Abraxas School of Ohio. Some of the business ideas developed included developing Apps for technology, banking, auto mechanic shop, car sales and repair and a dog walking service.
